Red Ladder Optimized Learning is delighted to offer an exceptional opportunity for professionals interested in joining our team. This private psychological and psycho-educational assessment and treatment centre provides a full range of outpatient psycho-educational and psychological evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Professionals provide specialized mental health, behavioural, and school psychological services from our Portage Avenue offices.

If you hold a masters or doctoral degree in School, Educational, Clinical, or Learning Disabilities Psychology, or Clinical Social Work, and experience in one or more private or public practice settings, please contact us to discuss possibilities. Registration or eligibility for registration as a Psychologist, Psychologist Candidate, or Psychological Associate with the Psychological Association of Manitoba is an asset, as is membership or eligibility for membership with the Manitoba Association of School Psychologists.

If you have solid education and experience working with LD, ADHD, NLD, Asperger's Disorder, behavioural disorders and emotional impediments to optimal learning in either an evaluative or treatment capacity, or in both capacities, please contact us. Familiarity with family systems and school systems, ease with developing solid evaluative and therapeutic client relationships, excellent interviewing skills, education and experience with use of a wide range of cognitive, neuropsychological, achievement, emotional, adaptive functioning instruments or measures, developed critical thinking and abilities with respect to synthesizing complex sets of convergent data from multiple sources, strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal, communication, and oral presentation skills, and excellent writing skills are important. Proven skill in individual, family-based, or group therapy or a combination, commitment to continuing education and interest in rounds and educational sessions with unit members and others, the ability to develop and implement new therapeutic programs based upon clinical needs, and commitment to public education programming about psychological services and our specialty are also important.
