Dr. Neal D. Anderson (Ph.D., C. Psych.) is a registered
clinical psychologist in private practice in Manitoba and
oversees the work of Red Ladder Optimized Learning clinicians.
He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate
Institute (Carpinteria, California), and holds memberships
in the Manitoba Psychological Society, Canadian Psychological
Association, American Psychological Association, Learning
Disabilities Association of Manitoba and Learning Disabilities
Association of Canada, among other organizations. He provides
a variety of psychological and consultation services including
psychological and psycho-educational evaluation, psychological
management and treatment of learning disorders, mood disorders-for
example, depression, bi-polar mood disorder-anxiety disorders,
family relational difficulties, parenting issues, school setting
problems, and combinations of these.
Katherine L. Davidson (B.A. (Hons.), M.A.) holds a
Masters Degree in School Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent
University. She conducts psychological assessment work with
pre-school-aged and school-aged children, as well as teens
and adults. She has a strong background in behaviour management,
learning disabilities, developmental psychology, and neurodevelopment.
Al-Noor Mawani (B.Sc., B.A., M.A.) is a Ph.D. student
in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba. He conducts
supervised psychological assessment and treatment of children,
teens, and adults with a range of behavioural and psychological
presentations. His current research centres upon the relationship
of chronic pain management and spiritual practice, and he
is also interested in issues of cultural diversity in psychological
treatment, and in assistance to cultural minorities.
Lisa M. Wright (B.A. (Hons.), M.A.) is a Ph.D. student
in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba. She
conducts evaluation of Dyslexia, ADHD, Non-Verbal Disability,
Asperger's Syndrome, and other developmental difficulties,
as well as anxiety and mood disorders.
Theresa Barker, (MMFT) (University of Winnipeg) comes to us with eighteen years’ clinical experience in a variety of public and private practice mental health settings. She offers expertise in family-based interventions for Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), anger problems, and ADHD, as well as parenting education, and assisting parents and children coping with divorce. She has long experience conducting custody and access evaluations, and is certified as a collaborative divorce coach.
Darek Dawda, (B.Sc., Trent University, M.A., Simon Fraser University, C.Psych. (Cand.)) is a doctoral candidate scheduled to defend dissertation research this fall related to literacy and child development. His experience in both public and private practice clinical settings includes management of stress and anxiety, PTSD, sleep problems, anger management difficulties, and mood disorders, and he has worked extensively in forensic settings as an individual therapist and group therapy leader. His clinical approach fosters the integration of mind and body as a prerequisite for optimal mental health.
